Donkey Daniel

Donkey Daniel is a member of Krylov’s fable quartet. His viola music is inspiring and uplifting. The donkey is cut according to an unusual pattern with curved front and hind legs, with hooves sculpted from baked plastic. Daniel is sewn from a combined material of viscose, mohair in gray and white. The donkey’s body is stuffed with wood sawdust with the addition of natural granulate. His limbs and head are on 5 cotter pin connections. Glass eyes 6 mm, hand painted. The donkey has a tail. The product delicately aged and tinted with artistic oil.

Daniel is wearing a gray striped wool blazer with buttons and a black cotton bow around his neck. On his left shoulder he holds a viola, in his right front leg he holds a bow. This musical instrument is cut out of linden and painted with acrylics and varnishes.
