Panda Xiu

Panda Xiu is very kind and beautiful, and her name means «elegance» in Chinese. The bear is sewn from a combined black and white viscose. Her head on a double cotter pin turns in different directions. The limbs are also attached by the disk-cotter pin connections. The body of the toy is densely stuffed with wood sawdust and wool.

Panda Xiu wears a blue, white-dotted, button-down vest made from Japanese cotton. She has a silk bow around her neck and a straw hat on her head. All clothes are delicately aged. The bear sits confidently, stands with support. This miniature panda boat is made using sampan technology. The flat bottom of the boat, bow and stern are made of plywood. On the sides and inside it is sheathed with birch sticks. On top there is a superstructure for shelter, which is often installed on sampans. At the stern there is one wooden oar in a metal oarlock. The boat is painted with a walnut stain and delicately aged.
