Hello! My name is Svetlana Pashaeva, I am very pleased to welcome you on my website!
I am an artist-teddist, all of my products are made by myself in a single copy. Every bear has its own character, each in its own way unique. They are made of different materials: Italian viscose, German viscose Steiff-Schulte, artificial mohair, cotton. Bears eyes are glassy and hand painted. For bonding parts I use joints: cotter pins and washers. Clothes for bears I design, sew and knit by myself. I hope you enjoy my work, and you will find a wonderful friend here.
My childhood and youth I spent in the Irkutsk region. Ever since high school, I learned how to sew and knit. This exciting experience drew me so that creativity became an integral part of my life. I sewed doll dresses, designed, participated in various competitions of drawings and posters, and always occupied the top places.
In 1989 I entered the Novosibirsk Pedagogical University on the faculty of graphic arts, and successfully graduated it with a diploma «Dolls in frame» based on a Filatovs tale. At university I learned a lot of arts and crafts – sculpture, painting, batik, embroidery, etc. After graduating, I got a job at a school with extensive learning of theatrical art # 90 in Novosibirsk. There I taught drawing, painting and housekeeping for girls. Here I first became acquainted with Teddy bears.
From 1995 to present, I live and work in Moscow, continue to engage in creative work. In 2006, after reading a book by Gemma Kaj I strongly decided to relate my life with Teddy bears, and since then I do not leave this wonderful activity.
