Cat Jacob

Teddy friend cat Jacob is an old street organ grinder, who always walks with his beloved street organ through the streets of the city and plays plaintive music. He is sewn of combined viscose in white and black, tinted with art oil, and delicately aged. The cat is densely packed with wood sawdust and wool with the addition of sea sand. Joints on four cotter pins. In the neck and along the body is a skeletal hinge frame. The nose is embroidered with dusty pink threads. Eyes yellow-green glass, hand-painted, sewn. Thread pads are embroidered on the paws.

Cat Jakob is dressed in a light shirt, a burgundy vest, plaid shorts and a gray frock-coat. All items of clothing are sewn from vintage cotton and delicately aged. On the head is a cotton hat with a leather belt. A handmade wooden street organ hangs on a cat’s neck on a leather strap. By turning the handle, you can activate the music module and music begins to play.

Cat Jakob participated in the Teddy Master 2019 competition at the Hello Teddy 2019 exhibition in the nomination «Teddy friend». Next year he will take part in the Golden George contest at the Teddybär Total 2020 exhibition.
