Finally, we edited a video of my trip to Münster in 2019. I tried to indicate all the amounts of expenses, but on the way back I paid in cash, so prices are not indicated everywhere. Mostly the material for the video was obtained from the DVR, but since it erases the old data, not all the moments of our trip have been preserved. But I tried to identify the important points of the journey in subtitles. Happy viewing!
My trip to Münster for the exhibition began, we loaded all the things into the car and drove out of Moscow. Our route passed through Mozhaisk district. We passed Patriot Park, Tank Museum in Kubinka, the village of Borodino. Then our road went to Minsk highway. The roads were not very busy, so it was a pleasure to drive.
Having reached the border with Belarus, and once on the territory of another state, almost nothing has changed. The myth of the magnificent Belarusian roads disappeared in an instant, when, after a beautiful and even highway, we found ourselves on a road strewn with patches and pits. For ourselves, we concluded that the quality of roads depends on what angle you look at them from.
We planned to call in Yurtsevo to have dinner, but the «language barrier» played a cruel joke with us. In the name of the village Yurtsava we did not see our goal. It turns out that in Belarusian the village Jurtsevo sounds exactly like that. Having passed further, we found a wonderful place near the cafe «Alice». There you can park your car for free, eat your food in the gazebo on the street, go to the public toilet. For money just a cafe and a bath.
In the afternoon, it began to rain, which then turned into a downpour. In the rain we drove slowly – 120 kmph. After a few hours of monotonous driving without large populated areas, we stopped at a roadside cafe «Vstrecha». At dinner, ate borscht and pancakes with sour cream. Very pleased that almost everywhere accept bank cards for payment.
Due to bad weather, we didn’t see the right turn to Slonim, so we had to make a detour and drive through several Belarusian villages. We noticed that in spite of the location of these settlements in the wilderness, they are very well maintained and clean. The palette of colors in which the houses of these villages are painted pleases the eye. The atmosphere of beauty enhances a large number of storks in the area.
Now we are sitting in a room at the «Voyage» Hotel in Volkovysk and summarizing the results of the day. I really want to sleep, tomorrow I have to get up early to get to the border before the others.
