At the last exhibition «Hello Teddy 2017» I took part in the competition held under the auspices of the exhibition. I put out my work «The First Concert» in the nomination «Composition». In the center of the composition is teddy bear Amadeus with a double bass and his faithful friend – dog Alf, who sits on a small stool and holds notes for a beginning musician. The composition is small, measuring 20×20 cm.
Teddy bear Amadeus is sewn from viscose brown, delicately aged and toned with artistic oil, black glass eyes. The teddy bear is stuffed with sawdust with the addition of metal granulate. The limbs on the 5 cotter pin connections, confidently stands. The bear is dressed in a silk shirt with ruffles, a cotton waistcoat embroidered in a thin pattern. A lilac jacket on top with a hand embroidery and pants on buttons. On the head of Amadeus is wig in the style of the 18th century, when men wore such clothes and looked very impressive. On the legs are socks and leather shoes with a buckle.
In the hands of the bear, a double bass, glued from cardboard, painted with acrylic paints and artificially aged. In the hand of the bear are a bow of wood and thread, which is attached to a miniature magnet, sewn in the hand.
The dog Alf is sewn from combined viscose brown, white and gray, behind the tail, reinforced. It is stuffed with very small sawdust. The chin is sewn to the muzzle, which allows it to hold notes in the teeth. On the neck is a silk bow with a metal bell.
The pedestal on which the product stands is made of wood, painted in the color of burgundy and aged. To it are attached a stand for a double bass and a note stand made of wire, covered with a tape. In general, the work looks laconic and harmonious.
