Once I worked in a company that manufactured fountains. I wanted to remember the past and make a piece of interior – an floor fountain. To begin with, my husband bought a vase with a podium «Sparta» chamotte. In the forest we found the right pine driftwood, which I polished and dyed. We went to the flower market and purchased accessories for the future fountain.

Using the mounting foam and styrofoam, I made the fountain frame. Carved a relief in the form of stones and added real stones collected near the lake. From above I attached snags and decorated them with grape foliage and bunches of black grapes. Complemented the composition of various accessories – a ceramic pitcher, a frog and a dragonfly.

Water in the fountain is taken up by a water pump and through a plastic hose rises to the top of a stone cascade. Then the water runs down the steps until it again appears in the vase. The water quenching very calms and normalizes the humidity in the room.
