When were on sale mohair and viscose, it was very interesting to work and pick up the material for future work. Bears created from them look great.
For making bear I chose German viscose. Such material is easy to work, it does not require cutting complex manipulations. I made Slavik bear size 22 cm. This bear was made to order. It was conceived as a brave hero during wartime. I filled up bear with mineral granules and hollofayber. It gave him a softness and weighty. He has black plastic eyes. His body is mounted on 5 cotter pins and weighs about 250 grams. He sits steadily and stands only by support. I sewed for him a leather jacket and a fur cap, to which is attached a metal star, bought in Voentorg. Pattern for bear Slavik is author, designed especially for miniature teddy. It is made in a single copy, and currently lives in St. Petersburg.
